Entrepreneurial foodies Tonda Gagliardo and Karl Bradley are celebrating the upcoming 2021 season with a move from their former location at Maxwelton Braes in Baileys Harbor to a Highway 57 location in Sister Bay and the grand opening of Thyme Catering & Twelve Eleven Wine Bar. The location will feature a new vision for the restaurant, plus an events center and expanded outdoor seating.
Thyme Cuisine will continue to feature an eclectic menu of “world cuisine,” said Gagliardo, offering ethnic favorite dishes of Cuban, Asian, Mexican and American dishes. Light and healthy choices will also be a hallmark of the new venture. Local produce has always been a first dinner or small dish option at Thyme Cuisine, with Door County whitefish and farm-produced meats, fruits and vegetables. The critical element stressed at Thyme, said Gagliardo, is still an emphasis on making everything from scratch, from sauces to soups to dinners to desserts.
The venue’s outdoor seating will be enclosed in a uniquely cozy atmosphere, and the business’s well-honed carry-out service will continue as Gagliardo and Bradley bring an expansion of their innovative style to Sister Bay.
