Touch A Truck is a family-friendly event that gives kids of all ages a chance to fulfill their curiosities by learning about the vehicles and interacting with the owners/operators. Vehicles of all sizes, including those from Door County businesses and municipal organizations, are coming to the Sister Bay Fire Station on Saturday, October 14 from 12:00 -4:00pm.
Touch A Truck is different than a car show. Kids will have an opportunity to not only see these great big machines, but they can actually climb aboard and experience the excitement of being behind the wheel. They can also read about each vehicle in books hand selected by the library. There will even be a crafts table where the kids can design and take home their very own tractor or fire truck.
Some of the vehicles featured include: Sister Bay-Liberty Grove Fire Department Aerial Ladder Truck, Jerry Baltz’s New Holland Tractor, J F Construction 389 Peterbilt Semi & Komatsu Bulldozer, Village of Sister Bay Trackless Snow Plow, Dave’s Tree Service Dump Truck & Bucket Truck.
This is a free event sponsored by the Sister Bay-Liberty Grove Library.
