Fish Creek, Wis. (September 8, 2025) – The Door County Historical Society invites the community and visitors to experience the enchantment of Eagle Bluff Lighthouse after dark during this year’s Twilight Tours. The lighthouse will open its doors on Saturday, September 27 and Saturday, October 4, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Guests will step into the historic keeper’s residence at dusk, surrounded by the warm glow of lantern light and the stories that bring the lighthouse to life. Musicians, storytellers, and poets will share performances throughout the evening, weaving together the history, heritage, and spirit of Door County’s maritime past.
“Twilight Tours offer something you can’t experience on a regular daytime visit,” said Amy Frank, Executive Director of the Door County Historical Society. “There is something magical about being inside the lighthouse as evening settles in, listening to stories, music, and poetry in the same spaces where keepers and their families once lived. It’s a unique opportunity to connect with the history of Eagle Bluff in a way that’s both moving and memorable.”
