On Saturday, February 1 from 11am–3pm, Open Door Bird Sanctuary will be having their 2nd Annual Winter “Open Day.”
Stop in and enjoy the trails for a snowshoe, hike, or cross-country ski (please bring your own equipment). The trails, just about 2 miles between all 3, are all fairly level and traverse various landscapes.
It’s still wintry and beautiful even if there isn’t a lot of snow! And of course, you can meet some of their resident raptors, too.
“We have many of our visitors ask about using the property in winter, so we are really excited to give everyone this opportunity,” says Executive Director, Rob Hults.
There will have a bonfire going with warm beverages. Admission to the general public is $3. Come on out and enjoy ODBS in all its wintry beauty!
