Jacksonport, Wis (January 25, 2022) – On Saturday, February 5 and Saturday, March 12, enjoy the serenity of Open Door Bird Sanctuary during their 4th annual “Winter Open Days.”
Stop in anytime between 11am–3pm to enjoy ODBS’s trails for a snowshoe, hike, or cross-country ski (bring your own equipment). There is about 2 miles between all 3 trails, all being fairly level with traversing various landscapes.
The trails are not typically open to the public outside of sanctuary hours, so this is a great chance to not only explore a new spot, but also to visit the amazing raptor residents! It’s so wintry and beautiful this time of year.
“We have many of our visitors ask about using the property in winter, so we are really excited to give everyone this opportunity,” says Executive Director Rob Hults.
ODBS will have a bonfire going along with warm beverages. Adults are $10, ages 5-12 are $7, and under 5 are free.
C’mon out and enjoy ODBS in all its wintry beauty. Click here for more info: www.opendoorbirdsanctuary.org or call 920-493-BIRD.
