Sturgeon Bay, Wis. (December 14, 2022) – The WHS Door County Campus is hosting their first-ever Hoppy Holidays Adopt-a-thon on Saturday, December 17. Interested adopters are welcome to visit any time between 11am – 3pm, no appointment required. WHS has many small animals – especially bunnies – in their shelters and in foster care so they’re hosting an adoption event just for them! Dogs, cats, and other species will be available to meet and adopt during the event, as well.
Whether you’re an experienced owner or brand new to the world of small animals, all are welcome. Get any questions answered, shop for supplies in their gift shop, name your own adoption fee on small animals and adult cats, and leave with your new best friend! Pet themed holiday stockings will also be available for purchase. Stockings are $10 each and filled with toys, treats, and other goodies for your cat or dog. All proceeds benefit the animals at the WHS Door County Campus. Stockings can be purchased any day of the week from 9am-5pm (cash/check only, exact change requested).
