Egg Harbor, Wis. (June 14, 2022) – One of the amazing attributes of Woodwalk Gallery, besides the body of artists it represents, is the tremendous acoustics. Musicians love to play all types of music in this historical and open-air barn/gallery and 2022 is no exception. There is definitely something to be said for perennial favorites; you really want to see them again year after year.
The season opens with local favorite and nationally recognized Katie Dahl on June 24 at 7pm. Moving into July, a newer sound to the gallery is Harmonious Wail, who first played there last year. They loved it so much that they are once again bringing back their gypsy and jazzy sound accompanied by stellar vocals on July 15 at 7pm.
Woodwalk also welcomes back Buckets of Rain for three nights, August 17,18 and 19. With Bob Dylan’s huge body of work, you know you’ll hear something new along with something you love. Concluding the “folk scene” is the new collaboration of Memphis musician Eric Lewis, as well as the Griffon String Quartet. Due the high demand, there will be two nights, September 15 and 16. However, the Griffon isn’t the only taste of classical music you can find. Try one of the Midsummers Music concerts starting June 19 and not only hear superb chamber music but also enjoy the artist collaboration between Woodwalk and Midsummers as well.
All concert information is available on the Woodwalk Gallery website. Tickets generally need to be purchased in advance and these concerts are typically sell-outs.
In addition to a full season of fabulous fine art, the gallery has information on their dining events, new workshops and art events on their website. All of the information can be found online at woodwalkgallery.com.
