Your 2018 Sturgeon Bay Activity Guide is Here

March 15, 2018 by Laurel Ciohon

It’s the moment you have been waiting for…the 2018 Sturgeon Bay activity guide is now available! Read everything you need to know about Sturgeon Bay at the tips of your fingers. This magazine-style resource includes event information, shopping, dining and lodging options, museum and tour information, and so much more!

Learn about the history of Sturgeon Bay, learn the top ten selfie spots, and discover the “must have” snacks and meals in town. Another highlight in the new activity guide is a list of the top 8 family attractions.

Below is a sneak peek of some of the top favored, family-friendly attractions to experience while in beautiful Sturgeon Bay, Door County.

Sturgeon Bay has three lighthouses- Sherwood Point Lighthouse, North Pierhead Light, and Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal Lighthouse. All three lighthouses are viewable by land or water! Sherwood Point Lighthouse and Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal Lighthouse will be open to the public during the Lighthouse Festival, June 8-10, 2018.

Tour around Sturgeon Bay in a variety of different ways. Sail the waters of Sturgeon Bay, step onboard the Chicago Fireboat, Segway through the streets, or ride a Door County Trolley.

Hold the baby goats, kittens, and chicks, milk a goat, and feed the baby farm animals at The Farm. Pack a picnic and stay all day or visit for a few hours. The animals can’t wait to see you!

Because Sturgeon Bay is surrounded by water, there is plenty of great fishing to be had. Catch the trophy fish you have always wanted to reel in with a fishing guide and captain from one of the many fishing charter options available. Check out the Sturgeon Bay Sport Fishing Association, Bousley’s Sport Fishing Charters & DC Custom Rods, and the Sturgeon Bay Open Bass Tournament.

In order to find out the other four family-friendly attractions, make a stop at the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center at 36 S. Third Avenue for your very own copy of the 2018 activity guide, or request your activity guide online!

While you’re in the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center office, check out and play with our brand new, life-size touch screen kiosk. This interactive kiosk allows visitors to book hotel reservations online, view our community calendar, and ultimately, find the information you may need to enjoy your vacation in Sturgeon Bay.
