Noted as the “Gateway City to Wisconsin’s Door County” by the StarTribune, Sturgeon Bay has Door County’s largest shopping variety. Boasting over 30 local small businesses, shoppers are bound to find the perfect gift for that special someone or treat themselves. In the friendly city of Sturgeon Bay, we have a lot to offer within three main shopping districts: Third Avenue District, Greater West Side, and Jefferson Street Shops.
THIRD AVENUE DISTRICT
Historic Third Avenue is another shopping center located in Sturgeon Bay. Third Avenue is the downtown district and is filled with shops, restaurants, and even some lodging options. Along this three-block stretch, you can expect to find cooking ware, art supplies, Door County souvenirs, candy, children’s toys, and a myriad of clothing options.
STURGEON BAY’S GREATER WEST SIDE
Many Greater West Side businesses are located along Madison Avenue. But venture out further to the surrounding streets and you will find even more shopping options. Here, you’ll discover a fun variety of antiques, home furniture, wine, olive oil, clothes, outdoor sportswear and so much more in the Greater West Side shopping district.
JEFFERSON STREET SHOPS
Connecting Egg Harbor Road and Third Avenue, is Jefferson Street. Home to several one-of-a-kind shops within historic homes, this shopping district has a very unique selection of items. Women’s clothing, home decor, jewelry, scrapbooking supplies, handmade wooden kitchen supplies and more are all found in the Jefferson Street Shops. It is absolutely loaded with cute boutiques!
