Sturgeon Bay, Wis. (September 4, 2025) – Sunshine Resources of Door County is excited to host the 6th Annual Sunflower Fest on Saturday, September 13. This event is held at Martin Park (207 S. Third Avenue) in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.
The day begins with the Door County Walk To End Alzheimer’s. Registration at 8:30 am with walk starting at 10 am. 2 mile walk through downtown Sturgeon Bay, starting and ending at Martin Park.
Sunflower Fest begins at 10 am featuring music by Big Mouth and the Power Tool Horns from 11 am – 3pm. Corn hole tournament limited to 32 teams with cash prize for top three teams. Double elimination, ACL rules and boards and bring your own bags. Registration at 10:30 am and game play begins at 11 am.
Free kids play zone with bounce houses, obstacle course, games, face painting and a special appearance from the Door County Ghost Busters. Enter the cherry pie eating contest for your chance to win some great prizes. Bucket raffle, 50/50 raffle and meat raffle sponsored by the Door County Board of Realtors. Food, beverages and cherry pie will be available as well.
Proceeds benefit Sunshine Resources of Door County and our mission to provide quality experiences that promote growth and independence for individuals with disabilities and disadvantages. This event is free to the public and family friendly. Come join us for some great fun.
