Door Peninsula Astronomical Society Solar Viewing
A telescope with a special filter will enable visitors to view the Sun, (which this year has been quite active) without damage to their eyes. While not guaranteed, the odds of seeing a solar flare or sunspot are pretty good. Meet at the Astronomy Campus, 2200 Utah, Sturgeon Bay.

Christmas-themed Planetarium Show — Leif Everson Observatory
The society’s annual, family-favorite Christmas-themed Planetarium Show returns on December 20. Shows begin at 7:00 p.m. and repeat approximately every half hour throughout the evening. If the skies are clear and winds are calm, members will also open the dome of the Leif Everson Observatory for night-sky viewing through the observatory’s large telescope. Event Details All programs are free and open to the public. Events take place at the Door Peninsula Astronomy Campus, 2200 Utah Street, Sturgeon Bay.
