Kate Boyd is an acclaimed pianist who has performed solo recitals at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall (New York), Schubert’s birth house (Vienna), the National Concert Hall (Dublin), and the Musikhalle Hamburg. Her performances and presentations have spanned North America, Europe, Asia, and New Zealand. Boyd has released two solo recordings: John Cage’s Sonatas and Interludes for Prepared Piano – praised by critics and streamed over 100,000 times – and Music for the End of Winter, featuring premiere recordings of works by American composers.
The Griffon String Quartet is a full-time professional string quartet from September through May and resides in northeast Wisconsin. Musicians are violinists Roy Meyer and Alex Norris, violist Oryann Tsaig, and cellist Jesse Nummelin.
