Sturgeon Bay, Wis. (May 5, 2020) – If you live in Door County, then you have most likely heard the news about the Younkers building on 3rd Avenue in Sturgeon Bay.
Todd Trimberger and Dr. Kelton Reitz, owners of Bliss Marketplace, are the new owners of the historic retail building and has big plans to develop the space into a “collaboration of quality retailers and businesses that compliment one another”.
In an effort to prepare the building for the new marketplace, Todd reached out to Sunshine Resources of Door County to donate some of the remaining Younker’s fixtures. Todd knew that we are remodeling and expanding our Sunshine House ReSale store and thought that we could use them. “I understand the importance of the work that Sunshine House does and felt they we could really use them to fill the new space at the Resale store,” Trimberger said.
“We are truly grateful for this support from Todd and Kelton and appreciate their generosity. These fixtures will very much help us in our new layout at our ReSale store and support our ongoing efforts to provide job opportunities for those with disabilities in Door County,” said Randy Morrow, CEO of Sunshine Resources. Morrow continued, “we are blessed to be in a community where we have folks such as Todd and Kelton with such big hearts!”
Be sure to stop by the Bliss Marketplace currently at 724 Jefferson Street and coming in the Fall of 2020, their new location on 3rd Avenue.
Sunshine ReSale Store, at 45 E. Walnut Street, Sturgeon Bay, is looking forward to reopening soon and will communicate the date when we are able to share
