Ephraim, Wis. (November 20, 2025) – Celebrate the season at the Ephraim Business Council’s annual Christmas in the Village event on Saturday, December 6, 2025. Most activities are free and open to the public, offering families an accessible and memorable way to kick off the holidays.
Starting at 2:30, there will be complimentary horse-drawn carriage rides through the village that depart from Ephraim Village Hall. Visitors can warm up by purchasing a s’mores kit to roast on the cozy bonfire and then greet Santa’s reindeer in Olson Park. Santa will arrive by fire truck in front of Village Hall at 3:00 and will be available inside for visits until 5:00. While visitors wait to chat with Santa, there will be complimentary cookie decorating and craft activities for all ages. The Ephraim Historical Foundation will also be in attendance to discuss “Vintage Winter Wonders.” Ephraim and Fyr Bal merchandise will be for sale for those in search of the perfect Ephraim holiday gift.
Throughout the day, people of all ages can participate in the Spot the Snowmen activity by visiting festive open houses at participating businesses: Ephraim Historical Foundation’s Anderson Store, Cultured, Door County Rock & Gem, Eagle Harbor Inn, Ephraim Library, Ephraim Moravian Church, High Point Inn, Hillside Waterfront Hotel, The Modern Nomad, The Simple Solution, and Sip. Spot five of the different color snowmen and report the findings to Ephraim Village Hall between 3:00 – 4:45 to receive a fun Ephraim gift.
At 5:00, follow Santa to Harborside Park to light up the holiday season in the village with the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony featuring carols led by Colin Welford. After the tree lighting, head back over to Village Hall at 5:30 for a merry Christmas concert from Colin & Friends.
