Fish Creek, Wis. (October 17, 2025) – On Thursday, October 30, at 7 p.m., premier American circus Cirque Mechanics will perform at Door Community Auditorium (DCA), presenting their brand-new amusement park-themed show Tilt!
Cirque Mechanics is a premier American circus, enchanting audiences with its unique approach to performance, inspiring storytelling, and innovative mechanical staging. Spectacle Magazine hailed it as “the greatest contribution to the American circus since Cirque du Soleil.” Although inspired by the modern circus, Cirque Mechanics really finds its roots in the mechanical and its heart in stories of American ingenuity. Their realism-rooted shows display a raw quality rarely found in modern circus, making their message timeless and relevant, as they tell stories wrapped in circus acrobatics, mechanical wonders, and a bit of clowning around. Their current production, Tilt, just premiered October 4 and takes audiences on a high-flying journey through the magic, thrills, and nostalgia of America’s iconic 1980s amusement parks.
Northern Virginia Magazine called Cirque Mechanics “not your grandfather’s circus . . . Cirque Mechanics takes the circus to a whole new level.”
The performance by Cirque Mechanics is made possible by major sponsor Dale and Margaret West and supporting sponsors Richard and Barbara Board, Jim and Nancy Huebner, and Wisconsin Cheese Masters; as well as the sponsors of DCA’s Passport Program: major sponsors Landmark Resort, Peninsula Pulse, Dörr Hotel; supporting sponsors Cramer Family Fund, Wild Tomato, and Wisconsin Public Radio; and partners The Alexander Family, Alexander’s Restaurant, Bermas/Branstetter, Cordon Family Foundation, Door County Eye Associates, Ellison Inn & Lounge, Grasse’s Grill, kindgoods, Liberty Lodge at Sister Bay, Red Putter, Sister Bay Suds, Tom and Barbara Thurman, The White Gull Inn, and Wood Rabbit Acupuncture.
