Fish Creek, Wis. (July 4, 2025) – On Sunday, August 10, at 8 p.m., indie rock band Cloud Cult will perform at Door Community Auditorium (DCA).
Cloud Cult’s philosophical lyrics and indie-chamber-rock sound has been lauded by critics as “insane genius” (Pitchfork) and “an invocation of the lifeforce” (The New York Times). Hailed as one of the Top 10 Green Bands by Rolling Stone, Cloud Cult began as Craig Minowa’s solo studio project after the unexpected loss of his son and has since grown with an evolving lineup of string, brass, and rock musicians. Known for incorporating live painting into their concerts, Cloud Cult were dubbed by The Wall Street Journal as pioneers of multimedia artistry. Their most recent album, Alchemy Creek, was written and recorded in a tiny home in the middle of the deep Wisconsin woods.
The Denver Post said of Cloud Cult’s performances, “It’s impossible to not be moved.”
Cloud Cult’s performance is made possible with support from major sponsor The Red Putter, as well as supporting sponsors Cramer Family Fund and Michael Moore and Jacqueline Surtel.
The show begins at 8 p.m. on August 10. Tickets range from $29-45, plus sales tax and a facility fee of $2/ticket and $6/order. Advance reservations are encouraged. The DCA box office is located at 3926 Highway 42 in Fish Creek. The box office is open Monday-Friday, 12-5 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in person, on the phone at (920) 868-2728, or online at www.dcauditorium.org.
