Fish Creek, Wis. (July 9, 2025) – On Wednesday, July 16, at 8 p.m., DCA will present acclaimed Nashville-based country singer Sara Evans on its Main Stage.
Over the last two decades, Missouri native Sara Evans has carved a successful career anchored by her insightful songwriting and warm, evocative voice. With such enduring hits as “Suds in the Bucket,” “A Real Fine Place to Start,” “Perfect,” and “A Little Bit Stronger,” she’s become the fifth most-played female artist at country radio and crisscrossed the country on tour after tour. When she’s not singing her own songs, Evans is putting her distinctive creative stamp on some of the most iconic songs in country and pop music, as well as shining a spotlight on some little-known gems.
Slant Magazine says Evans is “one of the best hard country singers left in Nashville,” and NPR calls her work “country power ballads with a punch.”
Sara Evans’s performance is made possible with support from presenting sponsor Main Street Market, major sponsor Nicolet National Bank, and supporting sponsors Fun in Wisconsin and Parkwood Lodge.
The show begins at 8 p.m. on July 16. Tickets range from $55-75, plus sales tax and a facility fee of $2/ticket and $6/order. Advance reservations are encouraged. The DCA box office is located at 3926 Highway 42 in Fish Creek. The box office is open Monday-Friday, 12-5 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in person, on the phone at (920) 868-2728, or online at www.dcauditorium.org.
