Scandinavian Dance Festival

Over 100 outstanding folk dancers, some fourth generation participants, will perform at the Jacqueline Cornell Foss Memorial Stage, located next to the Mosling Recreation Center. The performers have a wide range of ages and some are even fourth generation dancers from the same extended family. The seating holds as many as 400 attendees in a bucolic outdoor setting. Admission is $5 per adult.

Stop by the Dome House for a reception to meet the 2023 Al & Mickey Quinlan Artist-in-Residence, Christopher T Wood. Wood is known globally for his distinct and ethereal powdered graphite drawings. During his time in residence, Wood hopes to use this medium to capture and express the stories surrounding the Dome House and its extraordinary location on the Door County peninsula. Light refreshments will be served at this fun and informative open house.

Treat yourself! On Mondays the museum stays open after 5pm. Stop by after work to view Blind Spot–to pass among them by Wisconsin artist Suzanne Rose. Organized by the Museum of Wisconsin Art, this collection of 27 large-scale photographs explores the understated study of human folly and nature's resilience through an aesthetic influenced by pioneer photographers of the nineteenth century.
