Annual Polar Bear Plunge
Start 2022 off right with a dip into the icy waters of Lake Michigan during the Jacksonport Polar Bear Club's 35th annual swim! The swim happens at 12 noon sharp (central time) at Lakeside Park beach in Jacksonport along Door County's eastern coast. Egg Harbor’s goofy parade rings in the new year with food and warm drinks! Parade lineup begins at Stella Maris Parish. Dress up, bring your pets, decorate an old car, motorcycle, or any piece of heavy construction equipment – anyone can join the parade The New Year's Day parade starts at 1 PM and runs through the Village of Egg Harbor on Hwy 42.
