Baileys Harbor, Wis. (April 4, 2024) – The Ridges Sanctuary is excited to host an artist exhibit and reception for Marleah Grinnell’s new installment of “Memories of Door County,” at the Cook-Albert Fuller Nature Center.
Marleah Grinnell is a self-taught award-winning artist from Madison, Wisconsin. Marleah’s collection of works demonstrate her deep emotional connection with nature, and the feelings, movement, colors and textures she sees and conveys. Marleah’s connection with art and nature began in 2019 as a form of therapy to improve her eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills, lost seven years ago. Painting helps Marleah escape the constant vertigo she experiences. Art will be available for purchase through the Nature Store.
