Ephraim, Wis. (June 30, 2021) – Peninsula Music Festival Chair, David D. Keen, today announced plans for a new organizational structure at the 69-year-old institution. “Following an internal review aimed at updating our governance model as it relates to current industry standards and practices for festival and symphonic organizations, Christoph Ptack, PMF’s Executive Director since November 2018, will become the Festival’s first President & CEO,” said Keen. “In addition, the officer seats of President and Vice President will be recognized as Chair and Vice Chair.”
We continue to work hard on the PlayON! campaign in an effort to provide each member of the 2021 Festival Orchestra with a stipend of compassion. Aimed at assisting our musicians through the continuing financial hardships resulting from the pandemic, the funds will be equally distributed, and assist with essential needs such as food, rent/mortgage, and utilities.
We are just over the halfway mark, and PMF will match 25% of each new gift received through August 1st, so please; grab your card, give us a call, or visit our website and give now. Thank you for doing what you can to help those who have brought so much to Door County by sharing their talents with us over the past 69 years!
