Egg Harbor, Wis. (August 13, 2024) – As housing costs in Door County continue to rise, it has become increasingly difficult for the talented musicians of the Peninsula Music Festival to find affordable accommodations. In response to this growing challenge, the Peninsula Music Festival is hosting a special fundraiser on August 18 at Kress Pavilion to help support its musicians with housing and other essential expenses. The benefit will feature a chamber concert, presentation, auction, and High Tea refreshments.

Attendees will enjoy a chamber concert performed by the esteemed musicians of the Peninsula Music Festival, followed by a unique “Behind the Scenes” presentation. Conducted by Rune Bergmann (Conductor), Lisa Harper (Executive Director), and Dennis Kim (Concertmaster), the presentation will offer an exclusive look at the preparations for the season and invite audience feedback on what they’d like to hear in the coming year.
In addition to the concert and presentation, the event will feature an auction as well as High Tea refreshments crafted by Chef Chuck Spanbauer.
