Ephraim, Wis. (March 30, 2023) – In a statement issued March 30, 2023, by PMF Board Chair David Keen, “On behalf of the Peninsula Music Festival, I’m excited to announce that Scott Stolarz has joined us as our new Executive Director. Stolarz will work year-round leading our marketing, public relations, development, financial and administrative efforts. He will work closely with Rune Bergmann, our new Music Director and Claire Erickson, our Operations and Box Office Adminstrator.”
“I am very pleased that our search has resulted in finding someone not only with an incredibly diversified background across many aspects of the music business, but also someone with deep Door County roots,” said Keen, “and under his leadership, we can look forward to growing our beloved festival to meet the demands of the Door County community.”
Stolarz said, “Door County has always been a special place to me, and it feels like a homecoming to be back. My family lived here for generations, and the time I spent here as a child was instrumental in fostering my love for music and art. I am incredibly excited to have the opportunity to give back to this community, and serve as Executive Director to such an esteemed, accomplished organization.”

Earlier in his career, Scott Stolarz worked at the renowned Ravinia Festival, was Director of Operations at the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Orchestra, Chief Programming Officer of the Embassy Theater, Executive Director for the Centralia Fox Theater where he oversaw its restoration and a Performing Arts Consultant. He holds a degree in Music Business from Elmhurst College.
