Potter Rich Agness Now on Exhibit at Plum Bottom Pottery & Gallery

September 4, 2018 by Kate Rispens

Come to Plum Bottom Pottery & Gallery to see the latest artwork from potter Rich Agness, whose stoneware spans the rigorously functional to the purely decorative. From beautiful mugs and egg bakers to stunning vase forms, Agness’s work delights the eye and adds a touch of beauty to morning routines.

Agness’s watercolor training is also evident in his classic pottery pieces, in which creamy earth tones and pops of watercolor flowers adorn mugs, his signature egg bakers and hand-built vases. New for fall 2018 are his decorative vases, featuring bold abstract color designs. Perfect alone or filled with flowers, Agness is exploring a bold new personal direction.

The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10-4pm. To visit go 15 minutes north of Sturgeon Bay or 5 minutes south of Egg Harbor on Scenic Hwy 42 then east on Plum Bottom Road (1 mile) to 4999 Plum Bottom Rd. Just look for the yellow flags!
