Baileys Harbor, Wis. (November 17, 2022) – The Ridges Sanctuary is giving families and friends a chance to spend time this holiday season surrounded by its natural beauty.
Guests at the old-fashioned holiday celebration can walk down the softly lit Hidden Brook Boardwalk, roast marshmallows and chestnuts around an outdoor fire, and listen to holiday music in the Kaye Cabin, transformed into a “winter wonderland.” Delicious cookies, warm cider, and hot chocolate will be available in the decorated Kaye Cabin.
The event will also offer a wreath-making workshop and free holiday crafts for all ages. Guided hikes and tours of the Range Light are available throughout the event. The Nature Store will be open to shop nature-themed stocking stuffers, housewares, and clothing.
Admission is free. The fee for the wreath-making workshop is $25 and includes all materials for one wreath. Additional wreaths and swags are $15 each.
Natural Christmas runs from 3 to 6 p.m., Saturday, December 10, at the Cabins at The Ridges, 8288 County Q, Baileys Harbor.
