Belgian Heritage Center to Host Belgian Waffle Breakfast
The Belgian Heritage Center invites the community to enjoy a traditional Belgian breakfast on Sunday, June 28, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Belgian Heritage Center campus. Guests will enjoy a homemade breakfast featuring Belgian waffles, eggs, Belgian trippe, a traditional Belgian sausage and beverages while gathering with friends, family, and community members in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere celebrating Belgian heritage and local traditions. Belgian Settlement Bus Tour
Join BHC’s Historian, Barb (Englebert) Chisholm, for a 90 minute narrated bus tour in the Belgian settlements. See roadside chapels, traditional Belgian houses, summer kitchens, cemeteries and where the first Kermiss was held. Hear stories about the lives and challenges faced by the early settlers.
