Mozart and Glazunov – Midsummer’s Music

Mozart wrote his Quintet for Clarinet for String Quartet in the final months of his life. Enthralled by the superb playing of Anton Stadler on this newly created instrument, he created a sublime work of extraordinary beauty. The program concludes with a heartfelt and compelling work by one of Russia’s best composers of the late 19th century. Alexander Glazunov captures the drama and romance of a Tchaikovsky Ballet or a Rachmaninoff piano concerto.

Kids’ Ballet Classes at DCA’s New Cramer Exchange

On Monday, June 22, dance instructor Elena Santiago will offer three different ballet classes for children at Door County Auditorium (DCA)’s new Cramer Exchange, located across the street from DCA. All are welcome to enjoy free sunset yoga in Sister Bay’s Waterfront Park! Try it once or come every week. Certified instructors from Ironwood Yoga will teach the class. Please bring your own mat if possible. Social distancing will be enforced, but there is plenty of room. This outdoor class will be available 7-8pm on Monday nights starting on June 22 and going through September 28.
